Change Healthcare offers two medical plans.
- A traditional Preferred Provider Option (PPO) with in-network only benefits.
- An open access Consumer Driven Health Plan (CDHP) with in-network and out-of-network benefits. When employees choose this plan option, they may also become eligible to contribute to a Health Savings Account.
Both plans offer access to broad national provider networks, while allowing members to make their own health care choices.
Two dental plans are available. Both plans provide in- and out-of-network benefits.
The vision plan covers a variety of vision care services plus discounts on other services.
Insurance and Income Protection
Change Healthcare provides Basic Life/AD&D insurance, Short Term Disability (STD) and Long Term Disability (LTD) benefits, and Business Travel Accident Insurance at no cost to all eligible employees. Supplemental employee and dependent Life Insurance, Short and Long Term Disability Buy Up are also available.
Domestic Partner Benefits
Change Healthcare offers medical, dental, vision, and dependent Supplemental Life Insurance benefits to same-sex or opposite-sex partners of employees.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
The Change Healthcare Flexible Spending Accounts include the Healthcare FSA and the Dependent Care FSA. These are separate flexible spending accounts that can help save money on taxes (State, Federal, and Social Security) by allowing participants to pay for certain expenses with set aside, pre-tax dollars.
Change Healthcare offers its employees immediate participation in the 401(k) plan with an employer match. Working with Fidelity Investments, you can choose from the multiple fund options available those which best suit your investment style.
Employees have access to affordable, pre-paid legal services as well as free telephone advice. Additional discounts may be available for services not specifically covered by the plan.
Change Healthcare reimburses employees for tuition and related expenses paid related to coursework in a degree program at an accredited college/university.*
Change Healthcare also offers a wide range of online and on-site professional and technical training and development programs through Change Healthcare University.
Expenses paid related to adoption are reimbursable under this plan.
Employee Assistance Program
This program provides employees and their family members with a wide range of services, including such things as referrals for educational resources, family member care, veterinary care, financial planning, mental health support, and more. Change Healthcare provides EAP at no cost to all eligible employees
Paid Time Off
Change Healthcare provides employees with a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) package as well as additional holidays and Charitable Contribution Days. Change Healthcare encourages its employees to support volunteerism and offers full pay for time off spent serving community/charitable organizations.*
Employee discounts: Many Change Healthcare locations offer local discounts to its employees, but all employees receive discounts with certain cell phone providers as well as access to a national vendor network providing discounts for retailers, hotels, automotive dealers and maintenance providers, restaurants, air fare, concerts and events, and much more.

Change Healthcare rewards employees for referring candidates hired as part-time or full-time employees or even as in-house sourced contractors.
